Daily Tarot shows a tarot card of the day, card meanings and widgets for your Home Screen and Lock Screen. It has no accounts, no sign-in and no advertising. This policy explains the small amount of data the app handles and why.
What stays on your device
Your language, chosen focus, cards of the day, draws and spreads, favorites, history, backgrounds, reminder settings and any photo you pick as a background are stored only on your device. We never receive them.
Usage analytics
We use Amplitude to understand how the app is used and improve it. Amplitude receives:
- In-app actions: onboarding steps, the language and focus you choose, which cards you reveal, draw, open, save or share (by card number), when you draw a spread, which tabs and screens you open, the backgrounds you pick and whether reminders are on.
- Premium activity: when the Premium screen is shown or closed, which plan you tap, and whether a purchase, trial, cancellation or restore happened, with the product name and your App Store country. Whether Premium is active on your device.
- The star rating you give when asked for feedback, but not the feedback text.
- Device information sent with every event: a random device identifier, device model, iOS version, app version, language and an approximate country derived from the IP address.
We never set a user ID, never use the advertising identifier (IDFA) and never send anything you type. This data is not linked to your name, email or Apple ID, and it is not used for advertising or tracking across other companies' apps.
Purchases
Subscriptions are processed by Apple. We use RevenueCat to check whether Premium is active on your device. RevenueCat receives your purchase history and an anonymous app user identifier. We never see your payment details.
Reminders
Daily reminders are local notifications scheduled on your device. No server is involved.
Feedback
If you send feedback from Settings, we receive your star rating, the text you write, the app language, the app version and the iOS version. Please do not include personal information you do not want us to see. Feedback is used only to improve the app and reply to issues.
What we do not do
- We do not sell or share your data with advertisers or data brokers.
- We do not track you across other apps or websites.
- We do not collect your name, email address, contacts, location or photos.
Third-party services
Children
The app is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect personal information from them.
Your choices
You can delete all data stored on your device by deleting the app. To ask us to delete analytics or feedback data related to your device, email us at the address below.
Changes
If this policy changes, we will update the date at the top of this page.
